Fenton, Michigan, December 27, 2022 – The State Bank announced they have raised $37,009.50 in 2021 to contribute to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.
With this year’s contribution, The State Bank is thrilled to report that they have raised a total of $405,208.93 throughout the successful 20-year partnership with the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan (FBEM). That contribution is equivalent to 2,431,253 meals provided to the 22 counties served by the Food Bank. Not only does The State Bank contribute donations, but many employees have given hours of volunteer time to support the Food Bank.
Kara Ross, President & CEO of the Food Bank stated, “The Food Bank is always so grateful for our community partnerships, like the one we’ve had with The State Bank for two decades. Each year they join us in the fight against hunger and they have had a tremendous impact on the lives of those struggling with food insecurity. The contributions we have received from The State Bank, their staff, and their clientele have provided nearly 2 million meals for our neighbors in need. We sincerely appreciate their continued trust and support.”
The State Bank is proud to partner with the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, especially during the current difficult climate created by the pandemic. We look forward to our continued relationship with the FBEM through volunteerism and donations that serve 22 counties across our community.
