Food Bank of Eastern Michigan

Fenton, Michigan, January 12, 2024 – The State Bank announced they have raised $73,136.40 during their Holiday Giving campaign to benefit the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan (FBEM) in 2023—over double the amount raised in 2022!

In the span of over 20 years, The State Bank has raised a total of $478,345.33 for the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan (FBEM), $393,968 of that during holiday campaigns. Their contribution is equivalent to 2,870,070 meals provided to the 22 counties served by the Food Bank. Not only does The State Bank contribute donations, but many employees have given hours of volunteer time to support the Food Bank.

Kara Ross, President & CEO of the Food Bank stated, “The Food Bank is always so grateful for our community partnerships, like the one we’ve had with The State Bank for over two decades. Each year they join us in the fight against hunger and they have had a tremendous impact on the lives of those struggling with food insecurity. The contributions we have received from The State Bank, their staff, and their customers have provided nearly 3 million meals for our neighbors in need. We sincerely appreciate their continued trust and support.”
