Craig has spent almost 40 years in banking. During the course of his career, he has held leadership positions in a number of banks throughout Michigan and Ohio. Craig joined The State Bank in December 2011 as its Senior Vice President-Senior Lender and was promoted to Executive Vice President in December 2021. During his time at the bank, he has worked with the lending teams to expand the bank’s product mix to our commercial customers to include the use of SBA and USDA programs and expanded financing opportunities for real estate owners and investors.

Craig is a graduate of Central Michigan University with majors in both Finance and Marketing where he is a past recipient of the Business School’s Distinguished Alumni Award. He has four children, Cameron, Matt, Kyle and Kirsten and lives in the Fenton area with his wife Kate and their Chocolate Lab, Jackson.
