Ryan J. Craves has been in the commercial banking field since 2005, serving as a commercial loan officer in the Great Lakes Bay Region since 2010. Ryan has built a successful career building strong relationships by helping business owners grow their businesses and meet their financial goals through his high-touch service, commercial credit and structuring expertise, and local community networking. Ryan has experience lending in multiple commercial, industrial, and service industries, working with small to mid-size businesses across the Great Lakes Bay Region and the surrounding area. Ryan joined The State Bank in June, 2021 as Vice President – Commercial Lending. Ryan was excited at the opportunity to join The State Bank due to the Bank’s strong long-time community banking profile, investment in the communities the Bank serves, local decision making, and the Bank’s ability to provide creative custom structured solutions to fit each individual business owner’s needs. Prior to joining The State Bank, Ryan spent time working in commercial banking in the Great Lakes Bay Region at both Citizens Bank and Chemical / TCF Bank (both now Huntington Bank). 

Ryan is a graduate of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Bay County and the Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance’s Institute for Leaders. Ryan serves on multiple community non-profit boards across the region and is an active volunteer in the community.

Ryan lives in Linwood with his wife Kristina, their twin children, Rylan and Payton, and their three dogs.
