Tom provides construction, development and long-term permanent financing options for both owner occupied and investment real estate in Michigan and throughout the Midwest. In a career spanning almost 35 years, Tom has made loans totaling nearly half a billion dollars secured by all product types including retail, office, industrial, hospitality, multi-family, manufactured housing communities, self-storage and senior housing. Prior to his current role at The State Bank, Tom held positions in real estate capital markets and community development finance for First Place Bank, Republic Bank and Huntington Bank. Tom attended John Carroll University and has spent his entire banking career in Metro Detroit.
